Whats Up!!!
hey every one whats up. Happy New Year. this is Tate here writing my first blog entry of the year. i was thinking this weekend about how most people dont know who the real Jesus was and what he was really like, and i think there missing out. i know alot of you may think im just a irrational bible thumping freak like that lady from trading spouses (THEIR FROM THE DARK SIDE!!!) lol that lady was crazy, but i am just passionate about some one who gave his life for me.
so many people today look at Jesus the way he is portrayed in so many Paintings and photos, they see him as a sissy man who was tall skinny and very quiet, but in reality Jesus was a carpenter and back in the day carpenters were buff. he was also not quiet at all, just reading some of the stories about him he was loud and didnt mind telling people what he thought. just check out this verse that describe Jesus its in revalations chapter 19:
11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. 12His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter."[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS
i dont know about you but that dosnt sound like a sissy weak man! it sounds like a King OF Kings. But what gets me the most is that so many people dont even know what He did for them . Jesus became the Ultimate Sacrifice for our sins..... let me explain.... we all have sinned and i think everyone can agree with me that no body is perfect right? and because of that sin we will never be good enough to get to heaven, so therefor we need a way to go to heaven ( and i think that most of us want to go to heaven) so what Jesus did was he became this ultimate sacrifice by shedding his blood on the cross so that if we accept what he did for us then we are able to get to heaven not by what we do but by what he did.
so in order for us to receive this free gift of salvation from hell we need to accept Christ as our savior and its not about what you wear or where you go to church or what version of the bible you read although so many Christians try to make it about that, what it is about is Jesus Christ, and his sacrifice that he made to have a personal and relevant and real relationship with you.
well anyways sorry if you still think i am a bible thumping crazy guy who is intollerant and close minded, but im not sorry that i shared this with you and i will continue to tell you about the one thing in my life that is most important to me, MY SAVIOR, MY ETERNAL FATHER AND MY PRINCE OF PEACE.
